Environmental Impact Assessment of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Ittehad Chemicals Limited
Ittehad Chemical Limited engage Asian Consulting Engineers for Design, Construction and Installation of Wastewater treatment Plant. The waste water treatment plant have capacity 80 m3/h with area of 1 acre. The development works envisage provisioning of Waste Water Reception Tank, Coarse screen, Equalization tank, Primary Clarifier, Aeration tank (AT), Secondary clarifier (SC), Supernatant Tank, Chemical dosing system, Evaporation ponds, Sludge line and Sludge drying bed (SDB).
EIA includes study of evaluating the likely Socio-environmental impacts of development, taking into account inter-related socio-economic, cultural and human-health impacts, both beneficial & adverse of construction and operation of WWTP.
Environmental Assessment (EA) Report For SIGNAL FREE CORRIDOR
The project is identified as Signal Free Corridor and is envisioned to provide an uninterrupted flow of traffic playing along the Jail Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg which is presently plagued by the heavy freight traffic generated by the substantial commercial activities and education institutions at Jail Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg. The project commences from Qartaba Chowk and ends at Liberty Roundabout in Gulberg, The project main components includes two under passes, one at Shadman Chowk and other at Fawara Chowk and then improvements of Main Market Chowk, Crossing of Zahoor Zafar Ali Road, Elahi Chowk, PIC Chowk and Canal Road Crossing.
The EIA study was conducted for Signal Free Corridor that includes baseline Environmental conditions, consideration of alternatives, Deliberation of compensations and resettlement’s, identification of the environmental and social impacts of the construction and operational of the purposed project activities. Necessary mitigation measures for compensation of potential impacts have been proposed to make the activity environmentally acceptable and to minimize the effects of the construction on the social, ecological and physical environment of the area along with development of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Public Consultation and Public hearing were also conducted.
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore
Enviornment Impact Assessment (EIA) was conducted for Sundar Industrial Estate comprising of 1750 acres of land and about 400 industries. The EIA study includes baseline Environmental conditions, consideration of alternatives, deliberation of compensations and resettlement’s, identification of the environmental and social impacts of the construction and operational of the purposed project activities. Necessary mitigation measures for compensation of potential impacts have been proposed to make the activity environmentally acceptable and to minimize the effects of the construction on the social, ecological and physical environment of the area along with development of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Public Consultation and Public hearing were also conducted.
Lahore Development Authority has approved construction of 4,000 residential units at a cost of about Rs 10 billion in the first phase of LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments Project. As many as 125 blocks of ground plus three storey apartments, each comprising 32 residential units, will be built in the first phase. Mosques and other amenities will also be provided in the area.
Environmental Impact Assessment of Technology Park Islamabad
Technology Park Islamabad is a Mix-Use high rise development comprising of commercial and corporate components. Total project area is 60,245.72m2 (14.9 acres). There will be 10 floor + 02 basements with approximate height 47.90 meters. EIA Study was conducted for Express way Project, which included field surveys, social survey establishment of baseline conditions, consideration of Alternatives, and possible quantification of anticipated impacts (positive & negative) together with mitigation measures, development of EMP.
ESIA of Rashakai Special Economic Zone
Rashakai Special Economic Zone is located at Motorway-1, Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan and spread over area of 1000 acres. The project consists of construction of main roads, link roads, truck terminals, Sewerage System, Water Supply System, Parking Terminal, Administrative block, fire station and allied facilities. ESIA has been conducted for the project that includes include desk study, literature survey, collection of field socio-economic and environmental data from field surveys, establishment of physical, ecological and social baseline conditions relating to the project, consideration of Alternatives, quantification of anticipated impacts (positive & negative) together with mitigation measures and development of Environmental Management Plan and Disaster Management Plan. Social Impact Assessment and Ecological Study is the part of EIA study.
