Rashakai Special Economic Zone is located at Motorway-1, Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan and spered over area of 1000 acres. The project consists of construction of main roads, link roads, truck terminals, Sewerage System, Water Supply System, Parking Terminal, Administrative block, fire station and allied facilities. ESIA has been conducted for the project that includes include desk study, literature survey, collection of field socio economic and environmental data from field surveys, establishment of physical, ecological and social baseline conditions relating to the project, consideration of Alternatives, quantification of anticipated impacts (positive & negative) together with mitigation measures and development of Environmental Management Plan and Disaster Management Plan. Social Impact Assessment and Ecological Study is the part of EIA study.
